Welcome to FloatPilot. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FloatPilot browser extension, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean the operator above. “You” means the end user or customer.
1) Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- Access requires a valid Steam account for login via Steam OpenID; you must also comply with Steam’s terms.
- You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
2) Plans, credits, and billing
2.1 Plans & subscriptions
- We offer Free and Pro (paid) tiers. Features may vary by tier and can change over time.
- Time-based subscriptions (e.g., 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month) start when delivered and expire automatically at the end of the purchased period.
2.2 Credits
- FloatPilot Credits can be used to purchase time-based access and certain digital items (e.g., configs).
- Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
2.3 Pricing, taxes, and changes
- Prices are shown exclusive or inclusive of taxes depending on your location. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
- We may change prices or features prospectively at any time. New prices apply only to future purchases.
2.4 Refunds
- Refunds are not provided.
2.5 Payment processing
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.
3) Configs marketplace
3.1 Buying configs
- When you buy a config, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use it within FloatPilot for your own trading decisions.
- You may not resell, distribute, share, rent, or sublicense configs, nor attempt to extract, decrypt, reverse engineer, or otherwise access their source logic.
3.2 Uploading configs (for eligible sellers)
- If your plan allows uploads, you must only upload configs you own or have the right to license. You warrant your uploads do not infringe third-party rights and do not contain malware.
- You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your config to you and to purchasers, as needed to operate the marketplace.
- We may remove configs that violate these Terms or applicable law.
3.3 No resale / anti-circumvention
- Any attempt to circumvent encryption, watermarking, or other protection; to scrape code; or to share configs outside FloatPilot is prohibited and may result in account termination and legal action.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with security or usage limits.
- Scrape, harvest, or misuse our APIs or data beyond permitted rate limits.
- Use bots or automation that degrades service quality or violates third-party terms (e.g., Steam, CSFloat).
- Engage in illegal activity, fraud, or actions likely to harm others or the Service.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
We may implement automated and manual rate limiting and anti-abuse protections.
5) Estimates, data, and third-party services
- FloatPilot provides price estimations and analytics for informational purposes only. They are not financial advice and no outcome is guaranteed.
- Data may originate from third-party sources and can be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Availability of third-party services can change without notice.
- We are not affiliated with Valve, Steam, or CSFloat. Their names/logos are used for identification only and remain their owners’ trademarks.
6) IP ownership & user content
- The Service, including our UI, branding, and code, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for configs you upload, all rights are reserved by us and our licensors.
- Feedback you provide (ideas, suggestions) may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
7) Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. It describes how we process personal data, including Steam sign-in information.
8) Service changes and availability
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service at any time (e.g., maintenance, legal, or operational reasons).
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or third-party outages.
9) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you: (a) violate these Terms or applicable law; (b) attempt to circumvent security, encryption, or rate limits; (c) engage in fraud or abuse.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service and any purchased time-limited access ends. Previously purchased configs remain subject to these Terms and may become unusable if your account is closed.
10) Disclaimers
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.
- Trading is risky. You are solely responsible for your decisions and outcomes.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates, officers, employees, and partners) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost data; or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility.
12) Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your uploads/configs, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13) Consumer rights (EEA/UK)
If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, you may have non-waivable legal rights. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
For digital content delivered immediately on purchase, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery begins, where permitted by law.
